Particularly charming landscape, hilly and wide, in the vicinity of the ancient house of Leonardo da Vinci and close to spa towns.
The Montecatini Golf Course is a particularly interesting golf course, hilly and quite extended.
Together with Ugolino, Poggio de’ Medici and Castelfalfi you will find one of the courses that in my view are ideally integrated and fit into the very typical Tuscan landscape. Who intends to golf in Tuscany should not miss seeing and playing this course.
Very well kept, many old trees offering shadow, interesting and big water hazards involving a number of holes.
A course of international standards, with its dimension and challenging slope certainly demanding, but at the same time a course that offers lots of satisfaction and fun for hobby golfers as well.
Didactically well placed two relatively easy Par 4 at the beginning – then immediately a deep gorge to be bridged in order of landing the ball at the ascending hill the other side. Hole 4 again downhill – a lot of movement. Spectacular the tee shot at hole 10 crossing a lake underneath over to the slope on the other side – any shake in your boots will not be helpful at all. Very nice also the tee shot on the closing hole 18, back over the lake mentioned before, small green, minimum carry of 135 meters – I have seen many good scores after 17 holes to suffer severely at 18.
With its general location on South-West slope very sunny and with beautiful views.
Challenging with its seize and different levels, think about taking a golf cart.

motorway 11, exit Montecatini Terme, direction Fucecchio, then turn left direction Monsummano, then direction Montevettolini; by now well indicated with traffic signs for Golf.
