You are looking for country life combined with great panorama and want to be in town quickly for shopping, having a cappuccino or find a trattoria ? - if so you will be best served with this holiday rental.
Up here you will find an oasis of peace with wonderful view down on the small villages of the Lucchesia. You are surrounded by olive trees, oaks and ilexes, not to forget the lemon trees at the pool producing their fruit all over the year.
About holiday rental near Lucca
In front of the house lies the pool in just great panorama location, at its side the terrace with bricked balustrade offering the widest panorama possible. A stone barbecue close to it.

Location of the holiday rental
You will see the church of San Ginese with the hills of Montecarlo in the background, its old fortress and pictoresque old town, with the famous wine of Montecarlo growing on the slopes below. The last section of the access route (900 m) lead through the woods on a not completely asphaltic road. You may reach the beaches relatively quickly fom here, but of course also Lucca and Pisa; shops and restaurant some 1000 m away.

Alleinige Lage und trotzdem schnell im Ort. Traumhafter Panoramablick.
Große, schöne Poolanlage, großes Grundstück. Alles eingezäunt. Gemütliches Haus mit Balkon im 1. Stock, von dem aus man die Aussicht besonders genießen kann.
Die Außen- und Poolbeleuchtung ist top.
Autobahn in der Nähe, man kann zB das Meer od. Florenz schnell erreichen.
Die Betreuung bei der Buchung und vor Ort war hervorragend.
Alles unkompliziert. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und kommen wieder!

Here you are in the hilly area between Lucca and Pisa, practically at the bottom of the Pisa Mountains. The village of San Leonardo (in Treponzio as there had been 3 bridges in former times) houses an old roman church with its adjacent bell tower.
This, too, is a place that strategically touches Via Francigena, the old route the francs (and others) used for their pilgrimages to Rome.
At that time there has been, next to the church, a hospice offering the pilgrims an opportunity to stay overnight and get some food.
From the neighbouring village of San Ginese one has a splendid view down on the planes of Bientina, now in province of Pisa. Once there has been a major lake, Lago di Bientina; nowadays its place has been taken by a large natural reserve, and ideal habitat for many kinds of birds.
