Above Lucca and right between the the city and the sea we find this elegant holiday home showing its clearcut renovation concept.
The architecture is intentionally kept simple but authentic, the harmonious interior fitting an example of today’s philosophy – lifestyle the Tuscany way – with its plain but truly harmoniously matching furnishing, the overall plan for the interiors and the decoration in general.
About the house
The house offers space in the true sense of the word. The outer area shows wideness, the relaxed atmosphere finds its continuation in the rooms of the old farm house. All colors are well harmonized, shades of the same color here, accents done there – Yin and Yang in the harmony of contrasts.
Breakfast, dinner or other services can be arranged by a local caterer should you so desire.
The fine linen and fabrics decorate the four beautiful bedrooms and their splendid unprecedented en-suite bathrooms.
The white beamed ceilings create an intimate atmosphere and make this lovely home suitable for adults and families.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with the best modern appliances and long counter tops.
Around the house
Under a covered portico is an outdoor table for 10, perfect for breakfast, lunches and lavish al fresco dining’s. From there your gaze will immediately turn to the immense lawn while the fabulous pool invites you for a swim with a view…….
In the garden you will find some columns as last remainders of former buildings, nowadays they are just decoration.
The house has been completely restored, but some areas remain closed this is used for storing house items and garden ones as well.

„Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und haben nichts zu bemängeln!
Besonders toll fanden wir den großen Garten mit Fußballtoren und den eigenen Steinofen, in dem wir mehrmals selbst Pizza gebacken haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder!“

Wir haben ein wunderschön restauriertes Haus auf einem sehr großen und gepflegten Grundstück vorgefunden, in dem wir uns rundherum wohl gefühlt haben. Den Garten, Pool und die Terrasse haben wir täglich genossen.
Das Haus ist ausgesprochen gut ausgestattet und funktionell.
Was würde ich mir beim nächsten Mal wünschen:
- Der Grundriss des Hauses sollte die Abmessungen der Betten beinhalten, damit mal im Voraus die Belegung besser planen kann.

Guten Tag
Wir waren die letzten zwei Wochen in der Villa Al Principe und wir waren total begeistert! Das Haus hält das, was es auf den Fotos verspricht. Es ist mit sehr viel liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Wir waren zwei Familien und hatten genügend Platz. Die Küche war gigantisch. Drei Kühlschränke und zwei Geschirrwaschmaschinen. Auch der Pool war traumhaft. Ausser Sonntags kam Luigi jeden Tag und hat den Pool gereinigt. Er war uns auch sonst eine grosse Hilfe und Unterstützung. Das absolute Highlight war der Pizzaofen.
Auch der Besitzer hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! Ich kann das Anwesen sehr weiterempfehlen.

The greeny valley that surrounds the property has a fanciful mysterious name as well: Valle del Canto“ (the valley of the sweet song). It‘s hard actually to trace back the origin of such important epithets.
The history of Lucca is a shrine of culture and traditions but it‘s also peppered with legends and old stories. the area nearby the Villa between the river Serchio and the Castle of Nozzano was already famous some centuries bC when the Romans arrived and built their values private villas (domus) and their military settlements. The fertile valley, the navigable river, and the lavish wooded hills made certainly all that possible! So, the „valle cel Canto“ was dotted with luxury homes, thermal baths, vast agriculture fields and streams and small rivers that romantically bathed this land.
